Eid al-Adha is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims all over the world. Eid Al-Adha means “The Feast of the Sacrifice.”

Information on poster:

开斋节通常始于穆斯林去清真寺祈祷,穿着最好的衣服,并感谢安拉所获得的所有祝福。

The high point of the day is a large feast, where families come together and share meat among friends, neighbours and the poor. In some Muslim traditions, gifts are also given to children.

Eid al-Adha is celebrated on the last day of the Hajj each year. The Hajj is a holy pilgrimage that millions of Muslims make to Mecca every year. They tell Allah what they are thinking and hope for him to help them, as well as remembering Ibrahim and Ishmael’s courage and devotion to God. Muslims the world over are encouraged to make a pilgrimage to Mecca and celebrate.
