A vocabulary/labelling activity for younger students.
Use this teaching resource in the early years classroom when students are beginning to recognise some high frequency words and familiar words from their environment.
This activity is the ideal teaching resource to use when encouraging earlyreadingskills. Expose your students to setting-related vocabulary and help build their ability to recognise the words by sight. The activity could be used in small groups as anEnglish Group Activity.

- four different setting posters
- a set of vocabulary words for each poster.
Two blank word cards are also included for each setting.
Students use the vocabulary words as labels, placing them on thepostersbeside the identified objects.
