A word family sorting activity.
Use this resource when teachingword familiesorrhyming wordswith your students.
Print out the resource on thick card for added durability. Cut out the word cards and the sound charts and store them in a resealable bag to be used again and again.
Students sort the words by their word families and place them on the correct sound chart. This is a great resource to use as areading groups activity.
The word families in this set include:
- -all
- -ake
- -ide
- -ent
- -ace
- -ice
- -ing
- -ate
There are four words for each word family. An answer key is included in the download.
