Engage and encourage imaginative thinking with a dentist's office dramatic play center.

What is a Dramatic Play Center?

The Dramatic Play Center is a place where students can explore, experiment, and put their imaginations to work. It’s a place where they can pretend to be anyone and do anything. This is powerful for young children, who are still developing critical problem-solving and speaking skills. Through pretend play, students can learn and develop skills in all learning domains (language, literacy, math, science, social studies, and fine motor skills).

What are the Types of Dramatic Play?

There are two types of dramatic play. Structured play is where there’s a plan involved. That could look like playing out a scene at the post office, or it could be playing in a grocery store as if they were shopping. Unstructured play is all about letting kids figure out how and where they want to play. These two types of play are not mutually exclusive and can be mixed into an infinite number of possibilities.
