After reading a piece of text, students will choose three events and draw a picture of each one. Then, they will make an inference about how the character must be feeling during each event and use text evidence to support their answers.
This resource can be used as a whole-class activity by projecting the worksheet on the board and completing it together as a class. It can also be used as an independent task to assess this skill.
