Use this science experiment when teaching students about density.
In this lab activity, students will observe how the density of different substances or objects affects how they line up in a graduated cylinder. Students should be familiar with the concept of matter and the Scientific Method before completing this project. Students can work individually or in pairs, and the lab should take approximately one class period to complete.
