Use these simple worksheets to provide your students with opportunities to practice their segmenting and blending skills.
Each row of the worksheet contains a picture and three accompanying words. The students apply theirphonemic knowledgeto decode each word, then circle the word that matches the picture.
You may like your students to complete the worksheets independently. Alternatively, project a worksheet onto your interactive whiteboard and complete the task as a whole class.
All five worksheets contain simpleCVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) words.
