This card set is a greatteaching resourcedesigned to help students with adding and subtractingfractionswith unequal denominators. It takes them through the process starting with visual models and ending with the standard algorithm. Along the way students are asked to solve the problems using fraction blocks, number lines, strip diagrams and set models.
Print out the task cards front and back so that the prompts are displayed on the back of each card. The cards can also be put on a ring for added convenience.
