A cut and paste worksheet for practising rhyming words.
Use this worksheet when your students are learning to identify words thatrhyme.
Instruct your students to cut out the words at the bottom of the page and glue each one next to the word that it rhymes with.
This resource is great as an independent activity or as areading group activity.
Hands-On Rhyming Activities
This worksheet can be incorporated into fun hands-on activities.
- Use real-life materials to encourage discussion about rhyming words before introducing the worksheet. E.g., “I’ve got a chair and a pear – do these words rhyme?”
- In small groups, divide the pictures and words amongst students and ask them to find their ‘rhyme’ partner.
