Practice making inferences with pictures.
In this worksheet, students will use pictures to make inferences by looking for clues in the images. They’ll then consider those clues and decide which sentence best describes the picture.

Challenge fast finishers by asking them to provide evidence to support their answers. Students can also come up with their own pictures and inference options.
If your students are having trouble with the concepts, project the worksheet on the dry erase board and complete it together as a class.
Easily Prepare This Resource for Your Students
Because this download includes the answer sheet, we recommend you print one copy of the entire file. Then, make photocopies of the blank worksheets for students to fill out on their own.
You can also make this worksheet more sustainable for your small reading groups! Print a few copies on cardstock and slip them into dry-erase sleeves. Students can record their answers with a dry-erase marker, then erase and reuse.
