Movie Versus Book Popcorn and Drink Review - Template

Teach Starter Publishing
PDF|2 pages|Years:2 - 6

Templates that students can compare and review a movie and a book with the same title, then construct them into a 3D popcorn box and movie drink cup.

Thisteaching resourcegives students an opportunity to review and compare the same story line between a book and movie. There are a lot of movies that are inspired from books, but there are always creative differences between the two, setting them a part in some way. Students will be able to use their knowledge to write comparisons, summaries, character observations, personal reviews and publishing/production details. After completing the two reviewtemplates, students will be able to create their own 3D popcorn box and movie drink cup.

You can use these review templates as a way to enrich a literacy unit, or use them as a creative and productive way to reflect a novel that you have read, by watching a movie at the end of a term, then comparing the two. Students will also love compiling their own 3D movie objects.

Blank templates also available to download for other creative ideas.
