Learning to visualise means students create an image in their mind while reading that reflects the characters, events, topics or information in the text. Use the Reading Comprehension Strategy PowerPoint – Visualising to introduce your students to the concept and then work through the examples and the guided, whole-class activity to solidify the concept. Also provided are some posters to display in your primary classroom, worksheets, bookmarks and flashcards.
