Use this collection of resources when learning how to visualise while reading a piece of text. Learning to visualise means students create an image in their mind while reading that reflects the characters, events, topics or information in the text. Use the Reading Comprehension Strategy PowerPoint – Visualising to introduce your students to the concept and then work through the examples and the guided, whole-class activity to solidify the concept. Also provided are some posters to display in your primary classroom, worksheets, bookmarks and flashcards.
