Christmasis coming up, and what better way to celebrate is by integrating a bit of cheer into every subject? We’ve created a fun set of Christmas-themedverb tensetask cards to help your upper elementary students review past, present, and future tense verbs.

Students read through the task card and determine whether the underlined verb is past, present, or future tense. They will then record their answers on the recording sheet.

An answer sheet is included with your download for students to self-check their answers.

Small Group

Teach concepts in a small group setting. Students can use mini whiteboards to “show and share” their work for each problem.

For an independent task, students can use their writing notebooks to record their answers.
